Nordsøfonden has signed a two-year sales agreement with TotalEnergies Oil Trading SA (TOTSA) for Nordsøfonden’s share of the oil production from Danish Underground Consortium (DUC) in the Danish part of the North Sea. This agreement is the result of a competitive tender process that involved a number of international bidders and has led to improved terms for Nordsøfonden. This contract is expected to account for around 60% of Nordsøfonden’s turnover during the contract period 2026-2027.
Nordsøfonden looks forward to the continued excellent working relationship with TOTSA.
At the same time Nordsøfonden has signed a two-year sales agreement with Shell Energy Europe Limited (SEEL) in respect of certain of Nordsøfonden’s natural gas volumes from DUC in the Danish part of the North Sea. The agreement will run until end of September 2027. Nordsøfonden again looks forward to the continued excellent working relationship with SEEL.
Nordsøfonden expects that these new agreements will contribute significantly towards Nordsøfonden’s profits and its ability to pay out dividends to its owner the Danish State for the benefit of Danish society.
