On 23 August 2018, the Danish Energy Agency will host a seminar introducing the 8th Licensing Round in the Danish Area.
The Danish Energy Agency, Nordsøfonden, GEUS and Oil Gas Denmark will give an introduction to licensing terms and conditions, the state participation and general licensing process.
The 8th round opened for applications in June 2018 and closes by 1 February 2019.
Nordsøfonden is State Partner
At the seminar, Nordsøfonden will give a presentation on the role as state partner, and you will be able to meet professionals from Nordsøfonden.
As the state-owned oil and gas company, Nordsøfonden will hold a 20 percent share in future licences. Since 2005 Nordsøfonden has participated on equal terms as other companies in all licences granted and from 2012 Nordsøfonden has been partner in the Danish Underground Consortium (DUC), which accounts for almost 90 percent of Danish oil and gas production.
